Vier prägende Charakterköpfe zelebrieren den Blues so authentisch, dass sie durchaus als Ausnahmeerscheinung gelten dürfen. Die einzelnen Musiker lernten sich bei den FBA Jam-Sessions in Freiburg kennen und so zu schätzen, dass sie daraufhin die "The Shuffle Desperados" gründeten. Seit dieser Zeit besteht ihre Mission nun darin den Blues in die Welt zu tragen. Dabei bewegen sie sich durch die verschiedenen Genres des Blues und bedienen sich beim Chicago-Blues, dem Jump-Blues, Boogie, Swing, Blues-Rock, Slow-Blues, Jazz-Attitüden und natürlich dem klassischem Shuffle.  Eine solide und intuitive Spielweise gepaart mit Leidenschaft und ihrem unverwechselbaren Groove zeichnen die Band aus, verbunden mit den charakteristischen Vocals aller vier Musiker. Somit erwartet den geneigten Zuhörer ein vielschichtiges Programm mit einer Melange aus Perlen der Musikgeschichte sowie Songs aus eigener Feder, die sie mit großer Authentizität humorvoll unterhaltsam und mit einem Schuss Selbstironie zelebrieren.

Four defining musical characters celebrate the blues with an authenticity that truly sets them apart. The musicians first met at the FBA jam sessions in Freiburg, where they quickly developed a strong mutual appreciation and a shared musical language. This connection led to the formation of The Shuffle Desperados. 
Since then, their mission has been clear: to carry the blues out into the world. Moving confidently through the many facets of the genre, they draw inspiration from Chicago blues, jump blues, boogie, swing, blues rock, slow blues, jazz-infused attitudes, and of course the classic shuffle. 
A solid and intuitive approach to playing, combined with passion and their unmistakable groove, defines the band’s sound, further enhanced by the distinctive vocals of all four musicians. The result is a rich and varied program — a vibrant blend of timeless gems from music history and original compositions, all performed with great authenticity, humor, and a touch of self-irony.
